Syd’s lunch w/ friends
I took Sydney and two of her friends to see Marley & Me today, and then we went to have Mexican food.
As promised… Baby Sydney
Yeah, yeah, obviously these pictures are taken from a scrapbook… and if you know me at ALL you know that it certainly isn’t a scrapbook of mine hahahaha!! (Nothing against you scrapbookers, I love LOOKING at them, I just prefer to work with digital images instead of literally cutting and pasting hahahaha)
A few details to note:
1. I look about 15… I’m really 23
2. My dad is wearing a Classic Chevy denim shirt – which is a SHOCKER… **sarcasm**
3. Charles looks about 20, he really turned 29 the day after Sydney was born
4. The picture with my grandpa: this is what happens after a gal has had a c-section and has been unable to wash her hair for days and days hahahaha

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SYDNEY!!!!!
I am now officially the mother of a kid in the double digits!!
She’s at Mammaw’s still, but I’m meeting her in a few hours and hopefully taking some pics with the new camera – also will get a baby pic of her up like I did for Ally once Ash gets home with the other laptop that has all the photos on it.
See some pictures from her Birthday Lunch with Nana in Greencastle.
So this post will be updated sometime later today.

New Camera
Well, we got our new camera yesterday:

So we are learning to use all its bells and whistles. Today is the first day I’ve played with it. Here are a few pics I took of a doily I’m making Syd’s teacher… I couldn’t find anything else to photograph lol – I am excited about taking the camera to Crown Hill Cemetery and taking some graveyard pics, though!! Yeah, I’m weird like that. Anyway, here are the pics – if you click on them they are big, but I won’t always post big ones (like I’ve done in the past) – I’m going to try to remember to resize them before I post them because I know that Dorothy likes to print them out sometimes.
I also put up a picture of my lamp that Ash took – ignore the GIANT cobweb behind it LOL!! Gross…

Mac Mac Mac —- its almost back!!!
Since the check came in the mail today, we will be able to get the laptop back tomorrow, and get our new camera and photoshop upgrade!! I’m excited!!! I’m REALLY excited to get the laptop back so I can have iPhoto again, and lemme tell ya – life will be good again!
And then you add the camera to the mix, and we put up some awesome pictures – woot!! ^^
Movies
We watched Seven Pounds tonight, and I highly recommend it. Its pretty original, and though you will probably at least partially figure it out early, its still worth watching.

Santa Came Early!
We couldn’t stand it any longer, so we did our family Christmas tonight!
Charles and I are like the worst when it comes to keeping secrets and gifts from the kids lol. We get more excited about giving them their presents than they get looking forward to getting them, I think. Sydney got an iPod Nano with some new music purchased from iTunes just for her (and 2 videos), a book she has been asking for, and a Jonas Brother’s poster. Ally got an iPod Shuffle, a Barbie, a Barbie bedroom suit that I made her out of plastic canvas (which isn’t complete yet but I’m getting there). The girls also got some birthday gifts earlier this week – they each got a skirt, shoes, and tights. Trey hasn’t gotten all of his yet, but so far he got the new Batman movie, and a semi that he couldn’t live without lol. He’s going to get a big set of Legos tomorrow. We took them out to dinner and went to see The Day the Earth Stood Still tonight, which was fun as well. Also, we got them their very own DVR for the TV in our room. They were so excited about the gifts! They were squealing when they opened their iPods, and were even happier to know that each iPod had songs selected especially for them…
Trey is still wearing his coat because he and I had just stepped in the door and he couldn’t be bothered to take it off. Ally is in jammies because she had an awesome day at school where they went to see Polar Express at the IMAX and were allowed to wear PJs to keep in theme with the movie.
Don’t mind the fingerprints and everything on the wall lol. It doesn’t look quite so yucky in person – note to self, wash walls….. And we don’t do wrapping paper, so it looks like we are can’t afford to wrap the kids’ gifts or something, when in reality we choose not to for environmental reasons. (And also because we never have the gifts in the house long enough to wrap even if we WANTED to hahahaha)
UPDATE: It seems I forgot to mention the printer, but I had already discussed it in a previous post so I didn’t think about it.
