Sci-Fi is remaking Wizard of Oz as a 6-hr mini-series in December!
I am not sure how I feel about it so far though – although I have to say, I kinda like Zooey Deschanel ever since I saw her in THHG. I also kinda like Alan Cumming [Grey Matters (GREAT MOVIE), Romy and Michele's High School Reunion]. I’m just not sure about Richard Dreyfuss as the “Mystic Man”… We’ll see, though.

Cleaning cleaning and more cleaning
Man, I hate cleaning! I’ve been working in my bedroom for like THREE DAYS!!! (Then again I can’t sit and clean up stuff for more than a few hours at a time, so it wasn’t as bad as three days worth of work – but close). That’s what happens when your kids discover that they love to play on the computer and they won’t leave the room for any reason except friends and bed lol…
You really can’t believe the crazy things I found in the mess over by the desk – there were some rather gross things. LOL Not quite as gross as the jar of peanut butter I found under the bathroom sink with jelly and grapes in it though………….

Enjoying the Car
We are thoroughly enjoying the car! Its so fancy schmancy lol…
Not much else going on – my sunburn is FINALLY almost gone on my shoulder. I can’t believe how badly I got burned.
Let’s see, what else – still spending copious amounts of time on FFXI, but that’s nothing new lol.
Trying to pay some bills, freaking out about money, not sleeping, headaches, tummy aches, stressing out, you know, same ol’ same ol’ HAHA!!
Charles moved into his new office yesterday – he’s excited about his new space, but he hates the extra mileage everyday. He has about 10min extra each way. But at least he has that extra 20min a day in a fancy car, right???? Oh, and he wants me to take some new pics of the car because he doesn’t like the ones I put up of it earlier – so I’ll try to do that later this weekend.

Home Sweet Home – VERY pic heavy
We made it back at about 3:30 this morning. Can you say TIRED?!?!
It was so much fun this week, though! Our adventure turned out quite nicely – even if there were many hangups with the car along the way…
The pictures of the car above are obviously taken at night in a garage so they aren’t the best, but they give you the general idea. The funnest part of the car is “Ruby” our navigation system. (LOL We named her Ruby because we had to come up with something good since the Wizard and Dorothy call theirs Mildred… Well, Ruby just seemed appopriate. hehe)
These are pictures of us all up at Moose River. This was SOOOOO fun!!! I mentioned earlier that I actually SWAM in DARK WATER!!! That’s AMAZING for me lol. I haven’t swam in water I couldn’t see in since I was little and got bit by a snapping turtle – ouch!!! I only had a mild panic attack when I got out there and thought about the possibility of snakes near my feet hiding in all the hidden rocks… But I got over it. Watching Trey move quickly over those rocks with agility was crazy to watch!

CAR CAR CAR

We are happy campers. Paperwork will be final tomorrow, and we will be back on the road to Indiana. Its happy and sad… We have been having so much fun out here in the mountains, but the kids are really tired and missing the dog lol. I personally would love to stay out here forever haha! The weather is nice, lots of rain, just the way I like it – and good food, good company and spotless houses LOL!! That is enough reason to stay right there!!! (And make no mistake it has been a full time job keeping Aunt Shirley’s palace house clean.
Fun Times in New York
Well, we finally made it to New York on Sunday. We took off Saturday evening after my last post. We still have no car, but its getting the finishing touches right now lol… Hopefully it will be ready today. (Although I don’t really want to leave we are having so much fun out here with Steve and Shirley and Karin.)
Three days have passed so far and we have been in the water everyday! Yesterday we drove to Moose River and that was so much fun!! I never would have imagined I would have swam in a river, but I did (Ally at one point went skinny dipping but that’s another story for another day haha)… And I have a TAN!!!! If you know me irl, you know how RARE that is lol!! I haven’t really ever had a tan in my life, but I do today. And all the kids are sunburnt (not too badly, I’m a sunblock addict). Charles has one too – we are all miserable haha.
Tonight we are going to go have some yummy Italian food – we are very excited! Many many many pictures have been taken and I can’t wait to share them with you!!
